A GALA STORY
Epicurean Catering has been partnering with Colorado’s non-profit community for 30 years. The compassion division of Epicurean was brought about by an unwavering commitment to our community and a never-ending desire to support Denver and Colorado. We do this through a variety of charitable events, foundations and employee involvement. We’ve partnered with more non-profit organizations than any other caterer in the state – below is just a small snapshot of a few of the many: “Western Fantasy Gala”

When Sharon Magness Blake started Western Fantasy, she never dreamed it would become a community staple of almost 20 years. And if you’ve done an event for that long – and for such a great cause - it takes a delicate balance to create something memorable and fresh that still feels intimate and familiar. Yet, every single year Western Fantasy exceeds expectations. Hosting over 1000 guests and raising over $1 million every year resulting in a total of $17 million for the Volunteers of America is no easy task but the 2010 event was, as usual, flawless. Wynonna Judd entertained the crowd and Lee Greenwood sang his famous "God Bless the USA" while, sticking with tradition, Sharon Magness Blake rode her beloved horse Thunder around the arena. The room was virtually glittering with deep reds and black and the menu took old-school comfort foods to a gourmet level not usually seen at an event of this magnitude. Date: October 23, 2010
