When six thousand chiefs of police are expected to pour through the gates, you’ve got to be on your A-Game. With live grilling stations, dozens of bars, and food tents spread throughout all 12 acres of the Denver Performing Arts Complex, even an icy rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of the guests. Epicurean servers funneled through the crowds with cold beers and warm, custom-flavored popcorn while live entertainers including BMX bikers and dueling piano players kept the crowd enthralled.
